It's A................

Well, the verdict is in........the next addition to the Crawford family is a BOY! We are so excited! We went to the Dr. on Monday and we are without a doubt expecting a little boy! The Dr. said that most everything still looks good. He is growing right on target. His belly is measuring just a few days bigger than his head, but I guess that just means he is going to be like his daddy. Although right now his daddy's head is pretty big. The main thing that we are praying for right now is that God will move the placenta out of the way. It is currently between me and the baby, which currenty means a C-Section. So just pray that God will take care of the situation in His way.

We are all really excited to be having a little boy, Brylee can't wait to teach him how to play Barbies and dress up, so she thinks! Tony and I are really excited about being parents to a sweet little girl and her little brother. Please continue praying for each of us. Tony Ray Crawford III "Tripp" is scheduled to join us on May 9th, 2008 unless otherwise notified. We will update you again soon!

It's just been a month!

Well, I keep getting in trouble for not updating my blogspot a little more often. Sorry I have just been crazy the last month. So, here what has been going on in our lives since my last update.

Oct. 25th-26th- Our Flower Girl....Brylee had her first experience as a flower girl, and she was great! She was a little nervous the week before and kept wanting to back out, but after much discussion she went through with it. And loved it. She got to come in ringing a bell and then walked out with this cute little boy. She was actually disappointed that the wedding was over!
Oct. 29th- I went back to the Dr. to get checked out again and everything looked great. The Dr. told me that I could continue life as normal and he would see me again in 3 weeks. So, as many of you know I have been doing just that. I am still keeping the roads hot and doing as much as I can now!

Oct. 31st- Our Princess Cinderella- Boy was she adorable or what. She was so excited this year about dressing up for Halloween. We had Trunk-or-Treat at church and so after Awanas they went outside to get some candy. She loved everything, but Moses. We had a guy dress up as Moses and pass out candy and she thought that he looked like Santa and was not about to go near him. I will post several pictures of her and some of her friends. The best one will be of her with our Pastor Bryan Wright as "Woody!"
November......has been a realativly calm month........."Must be the calm before the December Storm." We have celebrated Nana Rose's birthday. Been back to the Dr. for blood work only and we will be finding out what we are expecting on December 10th. We have been preparing Brylee for seeing Santa in the next few weeks and she has finally decided that he is just a nice papaw, so she is now okay with sitting on his lap and telling him what she wants for Christmas. I guess the most eventful weekend of November was this past weekend. We met Poppy and GG at a cabin in Pigeon Forge and did some Christmas shopping and then we headed home on Saturday to get ready for Sunday. Sunday was a special day in our lives.........Bro. Tony is now Rev. Tony! Boy that looks really strange. He was ordained this past Sunday night in a very special service at his home church, Holston Baptist. We had a great service and a wonderful reception afterward. And we were very blessed to share in this special time with lots of family and friends.

Well, as I said we have had a pretty eventful month and I do apologize for not getting this events posted before now. But hopefully this will catch each of you up on the Crawford Crew for a little longer. Please continue to be much in prayer for my pregnancy and especially me this next month. The month of December is always stressful on both Tony and I will something going on every weekend from now till Christmas.

We hope that each of you have a very blessed Thanksgiving!

All Stitched Up

Just wanted to let everyone know that all is well. The procedure went well yesterday, recovery was not very easy, but I am doing better today. Dr.'s orders are to lay around and do nothing for the next few days. So, that's what I am doing. Thanks to Dr. Tony! Just continue to pray that everything goes well. I return to the Dr. on Oct. 29th to make sure that everything is still in place. Thanks for your continued prayers!

Only a "Stitch" Away

Well, we are now only a stitch away. I will be 12 weeks tomorrow and we are scheduled to proceed with the cerclage at 12 noon. We went to the Dr. today for another ultrasound just to make sure that everything still looked good for surgery. Everything looked great! My how this precious little life has grown in only 4 weeks. We took Brylee with us today and she had a blast. The nurse explained everything to her and showed her arms, legs and anything else she asked about, (which was everything!). She is as bad as her daddy about wanting to know it all. She still says that it is a baby sister, but the Dr. was not able to tell us anything today. I guess we will have to wait on that verdict for a few more weeks. We covet your prayers on Friday that everything will go as smooth as possible. The Dr. says that I will need to rest over the weekend and I will hopefully be back up and running sometime during the first of the week. I will try to write again in the next few days and let everyone know how things are going. Thanks for your prayers...........Much love!

The Big Sister

I just wanted to take a few minutes and let you in on the latest news for the Crawford Family, Brylee is going to be a Big Sister. We are all so excited about having an addition to our little family. Since we have been trying for about a year now, we were really just praying that if God wanted us to have another one that He would give it in His time. So, this is it! Right now I am a little over 7 weeks. My due date is May 9th 2008. We truly covet your prayers over the next few weeks and months. As many of you may know, I have pretty complicated pregnancies. I am currently planning surgery for the cerclage around the week of Oct. 22nd. My doctor is out of the country, but when he returns I will see him and we will schedule the exact date. As I said before we are all very excited. Brylee, of course, just knows that it is a little girl and she is already trying to name her. Tony, is beside himself as usual. He loves being a daddy and he can't wait till this one gets here. I am truly excited about having another baby, but as to be expected I am also nervous about what the next weeks and months have in store. We know that God is in control and He will take care of all of us over the next few months. Again, we covet your prayers for this precious little life that God has given to us. We are truly blessed!

Our First Blog

Hello to everyone! Tony and I decided to set-up our first blog, to keep everyone up to date about what's going on in our lives. We have had a wild and crazy summer and we are ready for fall. We have done a little bit of everything and been a little bit of everywhere. So here is our summer in a nutshell..........

We went to the beach a few times this year. Our first trip was with Poppy and GG (R.C. and Glenna Gilliam). We had a blast at Myrtle Beach with them. Brylee loved the ocean and wanted to go in the deep with her daddy all the time. While we were there we met up with a group of college kids from our church and she was able to play with them a couple of days. She really enjoyed that, especially since her 24 year old "boyfriend," Clint was there. We headed home to get ready for yet another trip to the beach.

This time we were able to go camping at the beach with Tony's family. We left the Monday after Father's Day and went down till Saturday. Brylee loved camping with her cousins and grandparents. We had a great time and I actually survived the whole camping experience. We headed home on Saturday to get ready for VBS which started on Sunday evening.

This was a fun-filled week for the whole family. I helped with music, Tony was able to teach a class this year and he really enjoyed being able to do that. Brylee had a great time in her 2-3 year old class. They came to the Opening Rally and then had craft time, snack time, story time and play time. She loved playing and learning during VBS.

The month of July promised to be a relaxed and laid back time. We didn't have much on the calendar for this month. Tony and I celebrated our 5th anniversary with a weekend trip to Pigeon Forge, just the two of us. We had a really good time, just hanging out. About mid-July I had yet another offer to head back to the beach.............hmmmm! What other choice did I have!

So on July 27th, Brylee and I left poor daddy at home and went to the beach with Glenna and her daughter and family. We went to Hilton Head, which was a beach that I had not been to in a long time. We had a really good time, Brylee loved playing with Angela's kids; Katie, Andrew and Justin. We had to be back home by Friday so that I could help Tony get ready for our first choir cookout.

We had planned a big cookout for the choir at church, just to get together. We had a great time, more than 150 people came and brought their lawn chairs and ate and played games, but we mostly just got to know each other. It was a fun-filled time and we look forward to doing that again. I guess the most eventful time of our summer happened a few days later. Brylee's first major hair cut.

Brylee and her cousins had spent the night with their Papaw Tony and were playing one Wednesday morning. Papaw had let them play on the screened in porch and they found a pair of scissors. They decided to play beauty shop and now Brylee and her cousin Sadie have some very in-style, up-to-date pixie haircuts. Crawford truly is going to be a fantastic barber one day. As we have already said we have had a very full summer, but a fun one. God has truly blessed us with a wonderful family and church family and great friends. When we get a few more minutes we will sit down and let you know what our fall plans are and how we have already started getting ready for Christmas!
